This project was originally developed for a Digital Illustration class at Cazenovia College. The object behind this project was to create a piece of artwork in Adobe Illustrator based on a prompt given to us by our professor. The prompt was: “it never happened”. I decided to take the prompt literally by drawing a person who originally was writing out the word “It” on a sheet of loose leaf paper. For one reason or another, this person was not satisfied with the end result, and began erasing the word so “It” would never happen. Though the illustration came out great, I felt that a few areas could be improved on. Namely the choice in type (Midnight Chalker) and the size of the image-traced interpretation of my right hand.
Come Sunday September 6, 2020, I sought to correct my two slight errors. I resized the hand to appear more realistic, and I changed the typeface from Midnight Chalker to Pencil Grid.
